Just north of the Risøy Bridge, at the Indre kai (Inner Quay) in Haugesund, a guest harbour has been established that is very well suited to leisure boats. The Inner Waterfront in Haugesund is sheltered from the wind and weather and has excellent harbour facilities for both commercial and leisure boat traffic.
The quay is a popular spot for nightlife, activities and various festivals throughout the summer season.
Who can moor at the guest pier?
Boats up to 9.5 metres in length can be moored at the outriggers; larger boats can either be moored on the outside of the guest pier or alongside the quay.
For safety reasons, no more than two boats should be moored side-by-side along the quay. Please avoid mooring in front of the lifeboat ladders, and the use of open flames on board boats should also be avoided.
What are the harbour fees at Haugesund Guest Harbour?
For the 2026 season, the following rates apply at Haugesund Guest Harbour:
Harbour hire:
- Vessels under 10 metres: NOK 310 per day
- Vessels over 10 metres: NOK 365 per day
Electricity:
- Electricity for leisure boats under 10m: NOK 85 per day
- Electricity for leisure boats over 10m: NOK 155 per day
From 1 October to 31 March, the mooring fee is reduced by 50%. There is no reduction in the electricity charge. Prices apply to stays of over 2 hours; stays of up to 2 hours are free of charge.

What facilities does Haugesund Guest Harbour have?
Haugesund Guest Harbour offers shore power, which you can connect to for an additional fee. There are also services available, including shower, laundry and toilet facilities, for a fee. As for waste disposal, the recycling centre is right next to the guest jetty.
