The shop at Åkrafjordtunet is beautifully situated with views over Åkrafjorden and is renowned for its wide selection of high-quality local produce. Here you will find, amongst other things, meat and cured meats from Johs. Lundal & Sønner, as well as dried meat, game, goat’s cheese, pinnekjøtt, lefse, potato cakes and flatbread. Several of the products have won international awards, and parts of the shop serve as a factory outlet for Lundal’s wood-smoked specialities. The shop also has its own bakery, combining traditional groceries with a large and varied selection of locally sourced products.
When is the Åkrafjordtunet shop open?
The shop is staffed between 09.00 and 18.00 on weekdays, and between 10.00 and 18.00 at weekends and on public holidays. Åkrafjordtunet shop is open every day all year round, except 17 May and Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
Self-service after closing time
It is possible to shop at Åkrafjordtunet after the shop’s regular opening hours. The shop offers self-service until 11.00 pm by tapping your card at the entrance door.
