The boulder mound at Børaunen is considered one of the largest of its kind in northern Europe. The name of the area "Børaunen" comprises the mound of boulders called "raunen", and the peninsula to the south. The area is unique and it is an important preservation area for geology, birdlife, flora and cultural history. Access is therefore limited, please take note of the signs.
