The tour starts at the cruise terminal on Risøy. The train travels at a leisurely pace towards the city center and on to Hasseløy, or "Bakarøyna" as it is called. From there, the trip goes north towards Haraldstøtta where we take a 10-minute break. From there, the train travels towards the city center via the park, down around Smedasundet before heading towards the city's Italian-inspired town hall, which in 2010 was named Norway's finest town hall.

After passing Vår Frelsers church from 1901, the train makes a stop in Kaigata where it is possible to get off the train and take a later train back to the cruise terminal on Risøy.

Bytoget in Haugesund shows you the city and gives you an insight into the history of how "Sildabyen" has developed since the mid-1800s
