While Bergen is famous for its Hanseatic history, few know it was founded by a Viking king and once served as a royal Viking seat. Bergen also houses the world’s largest collection of ancient runes.

Your adventure begins by the sea in Bergen's historic city center, on the grounds where the Viking seafarers once walked. From there, you'll journey to one of the city's most iconic landmarks: Mount Ulriken, the first location in Bergen named by the Vikings. This experience includes roundtrip transportation with both bus and cable car tickets, ensuring a seamless and comfortable ascent to the summit.

At the top of Mount Ulriken, take in panoramic views of the city, fjords, and surrounding mountains—a breathtaking landscape once navigated by Viking explorers. Here, you can explore a variety of activities, hike the scenic trails, or relax and enjoy lunch at your own pace in the mountaintop restaurant. As Mt. Ulriken is where the tour finishes, the return journey is flexible, with open tickets allowing you to descend and return to the city center whenever you choose throughout the day.

This unique tour offers a captivating blend of history, nature, and adventure, providing a deeper understanding of Bergen's Viking roots while enjoying some of the most spectacular scenery in Norway.
