Family Tour in Stable Tandem Kayaks - Årdal
A memorable kayaking adventure for the whole family
Join Bulder & Brak for a relaxed and enjoyable kayaking experience where the whole family can explore the beautiful nature of Årdal from the water. This guided tour lasts approximately three hours and is perfect for families, groups of friends, and anyone looking for a fun and accessible outdoor activity in the heart of the Norwegian fjords.
The tour is conducted in our stable tandem kayaks, making it easy and comfortable for both adults and children to paddle together. Single kayaks are also available for those who prefer paddling on their own. You can choose between paddling on the peaceful Årdalsvatnet lake or on Årdalsfjorden, a stunning branch of the mighty Sognefjord – Norway’s longest and deepest fjord. Both locations offer breathtaking scenery with towering mountains, crystal-clear waters, and spectacular views in every direction.
We take our time during the tour, allowing plenty of opportunities to enjoy the surroundings at a relaxed pace. Along the way, we may stop to explore the shoreline, take a break, or go ashore if conditions allow. Your guide will happily share stories about the local area, its history, and the unique landscape that has shaped life in Årdal for generations.
The tour is planned with the youngest participants in mind. Rather than focusing on distance or speed, the emphasis is on having fun together, enjoying nature, and creating lasting memories as a family or group. From the kayak, you will experience the fjord landscape from a unique perspective, surrounded by dramatic mountains and the stunning scenery that makes the Sognefjord region one of Norway’s most remarkable destinations.
Whether you are visiting the area on holiday or simply looking for a memorable outdoor experience, this family-friendly kayak tour offers the perfect combination of adventure, nature, and quality time together. It is an opportunity for both young and old to discover the joy of paddling while sharing an unforgettable day on the water.
