Overview
From the parking lot go right past Kvinnherad Vidaregåande school. Follow the path through the forest and cross the tractor road at 100 meters above KVV (the school). The path is steep up the south side of Hovda, where it meets the path from Kaldestad. Stay left and follow the path to the top.
The path goes through a beautiful, old pine forest. There is rich and varied bird wildlife. There are beautiful viewing points in all directions, as the path goes around the hill. There is a tiny rest cabin at the top.
