Husnes - Fjord Norway

Husnes is the commercial hub of the municipality, with shops, services, cafés, a hotel, library and cultural centre. Husnes Cultural Centre houses a cinema and has a rich programme of cultural events.

The village is in an idyllic location beside Opsangervatnet lake. There are some lovely trails around the lake, and even a nice beach virtually in the centre of the village. There are seats beside the trail, where you can take a break beside the water. If you would prefer a longer hike, there are plenty of superb waymarked hiking trails in the area.

Husnes Marina is also close to Husnes village centre. Husnes is not far from Rosendal and Halsnøy.

This hike is on path through beautiful old pine forest. The forest has a rich bird wildlife. Towards the top you'll have a great view in all directions.
