Embark on a unique journey through the wilderness of the mountains above the Lysefjord.

The hike starts early in the morning, before the crowds of tourists have started to arrive at the parking lot at the Eagle's Nest.

The hike is demanding, but with the right preparation and a skilled guide, you can reach the top. As you stand on the 1,000 metre high cliff and gaze out at the stunning 42 kilometer long Lysefjord below, the panoramic view is breathtaking.

Take a moment to enjoy a well-deserved lunch while relaxing near the Kjerag-boulder. This formation, hanging, a heart-stopping 984 metres above the fjord, offers the opportunity for those daring enough to stand atop it.

During spring, you can encounter snowy conditions while hiking up to Kjerag. If necessary, the guide can provide you with hiking poles and crampons to ensure your safety and stability.
