The island is situated at the northern side of the island Halsnøy. You will need a boat in order to reach the island.

Kolsøy er ei øy på nordaustsida av Halsnøy. Øya er friluftsområdet og her er gode forhold for bading.
I tillegg er det ei idyllisk lagune her, ei lita brygge og gode fortøyningsforhold.
