Bjørgvin, meaning 'meadow between the mountains' was the original name of the city when it was founded in the 11th century. Now known as Bergen, she has developed over the centuries from a meadow into a cosmopolitan city. There are many reasons why Bergen has become my adopted home: the picturesque colorful wooden houses that give the city a special flair, the beautiful natural surroundings in the form of 7 mountains and the city fjord, the diverse artistic and cultural experiences - to name just a few.

For many visitors Bergen is the most beautiful city in Norway. Why is this the case? Decide for yourself! Be enchanted by the maritime charm of the city. On this tour you will get to know the most important sights of Bergen, such as the Hanseatic quarter (Bryggen) and St.Mary´s Church. However, I would like to not only bring you close to the historical nature of the city but also to its inhabitants, the 'Bergenser' and their lives in the here and now.

Let me show you my Bergen!
