This is a both an unique and spectacular experience that everyone should get the chance to try out. These trips starts at Uteguiden's office in Stranda, where you get equipped with headlamps and get a short introduction to the trip. You are also able to rent ski touring equipment at the office if you don´t have your own.
There is a short drive up to where you start on snow and make your way up to the summit of the night in the light from the headlamps. With the right conditions there are good chances for northern lights on this tour, and there is nothing that beats that – ski touring with northern lights.
Some people think it is hard to ski when it is dark – think again! With the strong headlamps with several 1000 lumens it is going to be bright as day!
