The captain takes you on a unique charter yacht cruise between Stavanger and Bergen. You will even have your private chef on board. Read more about what you experience day by day! See also a film from a yacht cruise with Private Cruise.

Charter Day 1 - Stavanger and the Lysefjord

On the first day, you visit the Lysefjord where you can see Pulpit Rock (Preikestolen) from the fjord. Taste fresh water from the waterfall and see several amazing places. Kjerag, the crown jewel of the Lysefjord, is a 1,000-meter-high rock face known for both base jumping and captivating views. You also go ashore at Flørli, with the world's longest wooden staircase with 4,444 steps. The night is spent onboard the yacht.

Charter Day 2 - Idyllic Island communities near Stavanger

After an incredible fjord experience, the cruise continues to the coastal communities outside Stavanger. Visit places with history from both the Viking Age and earlier eras. You arrive at Sjernarøy where a small family hotel is located by Ramsvig. Taste local delicacies in idyllic surroundings. Ramsvig is located on the island of Kyrkjøy. The location has become a landmark, and a local family has restored the older buildings from a former trading post and turned them into a romantic, coastal, small hotel, with a cosy restaurant serving exquisite food.

Charter Day 3 - Hidden gems

The trip continues to Røvær, a unique fishing village where you cruise among small islands and narrow straits to find the perfect resting place sheltered from the North Sea's wind and waves. A local restaurant here is known for its seafood meals combined with nice sunsets. Spend the night and wake up to the sound of seagulls singing and calm seas. Enjoy your coffee from the yacht while watching local fishermen at work. You can also explore the island with a local guide to experience old houses, beaches, lagoons and historic Viking sites. This little island has it all. If you want to go fishing, this can also be organised with a local fisherman.

Charter Day 4 - Hardangerfjord and Rosendal

Rosendal in Hardangerfjord is the next destination on the trip, a great destination with snow-covered mountain landscapes all around. Rosendal is the entrance to the Hardangerfjord where you can visit one of the largest glaciers in Norway, Folgefonna. You can take a helicopter ride to see it from the air if you wish. Or maybe you want to walk on the glacier itself? It is also possible. You can visit the historic rose garden, Baroniet, which is more than 300 years old from the Middle Ages. Wander along more than 5,000 different roses. Dinner in the evening at Rosendal Fjord Hotel.

Charter Day 5 - Bergen

The yacht then cruises on to Bergen, your final destination for this five-day cruise. If you so desire, the boat can stop at Bekkjarvik. The building here has a rich history dating back to the late 17th century. You will see beautiful gardens and interiors that take you to another time. Bekkjarvik Gjestgiveri is a luxurious restaurant that has won awards for its tasty food and skilled chef (Norwegian winner of the Bocuse d'Or in Lyon in 2015). The last stop is Bergen, a modern city rich in culture and history.
