Stadionparken is located in the centre of Volda, by Volda Stadium and right next to the trail that runs along the Elvadalen valley and Rotevatnet lake, in the shadow of Rotsethornet mountain.
Here you'll find a climbing park, a skatepark, a ball court, a dirt park, an outdoor gym, a kangaroo jump area and a mini road circuit for children. The area has paved paths for tricycles, bicycles and pedal cars, with signs and road markings, so children can play and learn traffic rules at the same time.
There's also a recreation area with a timber shelter (grindløe), benches and a fire pit, where you can settle down after the activities.
The park is a collaboration between Friluftsforeninga Volda, VTI Alliance and Volda Municipality, which has now taken over its maintenance and upkeep. Stadionparken is therefore a great stop for families looking for a break from a walk along the Elvadalen valley, or simply an easy activity in the centre of Volda.
From here it's a short walk to swimming spots, beach volleyball courts, the football stadium, disc golf, places to eat and shops.
