At cosy Strand Gård you get a taste of everyday life on a small farm, with friendly animal encounters and simple activities. A real, down-to-earth experience in scenic surroundings. The farm is just a short drive from Kristiansund or the Atlantic Road if you arrive from the south.
Activities on the farm
Strand Gård overlooks the sea and sits with easy access to the forest. Visitors can get close to farm life, and children have plenty of space to play. On the farmyard you can meet lambs, ducks, hens and ponies. During summer, the small farm shop is open with local treats.
There are several activities available: You can rent a boat or kayak. Fishing in the Kvernesfjord just below the house is known for being good all year. A couple of casts from the jetty might even secure your dinner.
Accommodation
You can also stay overnight at the farm. The farmhouse has four bedrooms and a warm, homely atmosphere. Wake up to the sound of roosters or waves rolling in. The apartment is well equipped and offers fantastic sea views.
