At Designerbonden on Averøy, you can visit the friendly alpacas in idyllic and scenic surroundings. The farm is just a short drive from the Atlantic Road and offers beautiful views over Kornstadfjorden. It is located on the southern side of Averøy, about 15 minutes from the Atlantic Road and roughly half an hour from Kristiansund.
Alpaca Visit
Alpacas are herd animals and are calm and curious, though they can be cautious around people they do not know. Alpaca wool is known as one of the world’s most exclusive natural fibers and is used for everything from fine garments like sweaters, scarves, and coats to interior products such as rugs and cushions.
Self-guided visit
This is a self-guided visit where you can meet the alpacas on your own. A maximum of three people can enter at a time, and alpaca treats are available in the farm shop. The visit lasts about 45 minutes. All visits/bookings must be arranged at least one day in advance.
