Solvorn is a magical little gem where you can stroll around the small beautiful houses and enjoy the silence. Down by the fjord you will find a beautiful beach with a diving tower, and by the quay is the ferry to Lustrabaatane which has its daily departures all year round by ferry from Solvorn to Ornes. It is recommended to rent a bike from Eple Bed & Apple, take the bike on board the ferry and explore Ornes and cycle the Romantic Road to Skjolden. There are several small places along the way that need to be explored.
The ferry takes 90 PAX / 11 cars - crossing about 20 minutes.
From Solvorn:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, the first departure is at 07:10, then at 10:00 and every hour until the last departure at 16:50. Every Thursday is the first departure at 07:00 and then at 10:00 and every hour until the last departure at 16:50.
Saturday and Sunday, the first departure is at 10:00 and every hour until 16:50
From Ornes:
Kvardag first departure from Ornes at 07:45, then at 10:30 and departure every hour until the last departure at 18:00.
Saturday and Sunday is the first departure at 10:30, and every hour until kl. 18:00

The Urnes Ferry
Take the trip across the idyllic Lustrafjord from Solvorn to Urnes Stave Church by ferry! This is a small charming ferry that can accommodate 9-10 cars and a total of 60 PAX.
