Notification system and telecommunications history

Varberg has deep roots in the early warning system with "veter" — wooden stakes erected in high places, which could be lit as a signal. The history of Varberg goes back to Haakon the Good. In 1968, it was confirmed as a communications hub with the construction of a telecommunications station, which remains in operation. Explore Varberg and experience its rich history and magnificent views.
