At Haula farm in the tiny village of Viddal in the Hjørundfjord, wine farmer and sommelier Nina is busy growing wine grapes. Her dream is to make natural, sustainable, and sparkling wine, as fresh and alive as the fjord and its surrounding mountains.

Join us on a guided tour of the vineyards and hear the fascinating history of the people, life by the fjord and the Haula farm. You will also get the opportunity to taste a wine like the one they are growing on the farm.

History

The host is the owner herself, Nina. In spring 2015, she took over the farm, which has been in the family's possession since 1615. For almost half a millennium, the farm has been passed down from generation to generation and run by persistent fish farmers filled with will, patience and courage. Nina continues the business in her own way, contributing to develop a basis of existence adapted to a new world and focused on passion, knowledge, and determination.
