A recommended cycling route is along the southern side of Jølstravatnet up to Astruptunet.

Jølster also boasts a rich cultural life and is associated with figures such as Nikolai Astrup and Ludvig Eikaas. There is easy access to both glacier hikes and summit trips, whether on foot or by ski. In other words, Jølster provides the perfect setting for an active and memorable holiday for the whole family.

The site is 100% energy self-sufficient, generating all its own green electricity from a micro-power plant in the river. The natural pool and waterslide use clean water that comes directly from the river and runs directly back into the river without chemical additives.
