The park is located in the centre of Bryne and consists of 10 sculptures in a wide variety of styles and sizes. It is situated along the Bryneåna river (locally known as Kongo) and Mølledammen lake.
The sculptures display humour, seriousness, playfulness and reflection
They are all cast in bronze in Italy and show a zest for life in both the simple and the powerful. The sculptures leave plenty of room for personal opinions and interpretations. The experience of the sculptures in the park varies with the weather and the different seasons.
Fritz Røed (1928-2002) was actively involved in planning and designing the sculpture park, and he presented his plans to the municipality a few days before his death. Just under two years after Fritz Røed's death, the park was completed and opened.
The park was upgraded in 2018 and now has a playground for children and several fountains. Several benches and tables, and seating areas have also been added. The park is universally accessible.
