From the car park, it takes about 15 minutes to walk to the beach. Along the way, you can enjoy beautiful scenery, fresh sea air and a touch of tranquillity that washes away the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Swimming and outdoor activities

Mastrasanden offers a varied landscape with rolling dunes, small pebbles, shells and seaweed that the waves wash up after storms. The soft sand makes it a perfect place to relax, play or explore.

Nature and wildlife

The beach is important for wildlife – migratory birds find peace here, and seaweed and kelp provide food for insects, which in turn attract wading birds. The nature at Mastrasanden is both exciting to experience and easily accessible.

Mastrasanden is part of private property, but has been open to outdoor activities since 1972 through a lease agreement with the municipality. You can get here on foot or by boat and enjoy a genuine nature experience.

Photo stop, bathing spot or hiking destination

Bring a towel, camera and good shoes – Mastrasanden awaits with its magical combination of nature, tranquillity and coastal charm.
