The course is located along RV44. It is a 9-hole course (with the option of playing 18 holes in two rounds). Scottish course architect Graeme Webster designed the course, utilising the area's natural topography – including heathland, small bare rock formations, and an open parkland style.

Maurholen Golf Park has received recognition

In an episode of the Norwegian Golf podcast, the course was named one of ‘the 10 best golf courses to play in Norway in 2025’. The natural surroundings are spectacular: the course is located in the middle of the Dalane landscape, with views, character and an atmosphere that sets it apart from typical lawns and forest courses.

User-friendly and pleasant facility

The course is run by Egersund Golf Club, which also welcomes guest players and offers good service.
