"Play with clay" is a great family activity for those wanting to do something creative. Clay was the raw material for everything made at Egersunds Fayancefabrik. It is a material that inspires creativity, regardless of age! Feel free to combine the activity with a visit to the museum exhibitions, to learn more about the factory and see some of the many products made there.
The museum staff will help you and your group make fun things from clay. The activity is suitable for children from 5 years and up. It is possible to be up to 8 people at once. You get 45 minutes to work with the clay and are provided with the equipment you need.
The price includes firing. Due to the time it takes to dry and fire the items, it takes some time before your clay figures are ready to be collected (at least one week). The museum will let you know when everything is packed and ready. Your items can either be picked up at the museum, or you can have them sent by post by covering the postage.
