Vagleskogen is a dense forest consisting of spruce and pine mixed with deciduous trees. There are good opportunities for mushroom picking here, and the forest provides good shelter on windy days.
Vagleskogen has a 3.5-kilometre-long illuminated trail that is well suited for prams and manual wheelchairs. In addition to the 3.5-kilometre-long trail on the outer edge of the area, several unmarked trails criss-cross the forest area. The area is widely used for jogging, and in snowy winters, there are excellent skiing conditions. A round trip along the illuminated trail takes about 1 hour. Vagleskogen also has its own 3.7-kilometre bridle path, which mostly runs parallel to the hiking trail.
Please note: Dogs must be kept on a leash in Vagleskogen all year round.
