Here are 10 tips for what you can do in Haugesund and the surrounding region when the weather is unsettled and you would rather stay indoors.

1. Burn off some energy at Rush Trampoline Park

Rush Trampoline Park is a popular activity for children, teenagers and adults alike. Here you can try the laser maze, practise jumps and tricks, play dodgeball on trampoline courts – or simply have fun together. For the very youngest, Minisprett (ages 0–6) is organised every weekend from 10:00 to 11:00.

3. Enjoy the warmth of a sauna

When the weather is at its roughest, there’s nothing better than relaxing in a warm sauna. You’ll find Heit Haugesund by Smedasundet, Heit Åkrafjorden and Heit Ølen with fjord views, Havglød Sauna in Åkrehamn and Bade-Olena in Skudeneshavn. Remember to book in advance. For the brave, a sauna session can be combined with a refreshing dip in the sea.
