4. Kråkenes Lighthouse

Out at the very edge of the open sea lies Kråkenes Lighthouse, where you can truly feel the power of the ocean. Kråkenes is a spectacular place all year round, whether the sun is shining or the storms are raging.

While you are out exploring, you should also visit the other lighthouses in Vågsøy. Skongenes Lighthouse, Ulvesund Lighthouse and Hendanes Lighthouse each have their own history and a unique location in the landscape.

9. Mountain hikes in Måløy

Måløy and Vågsøy also offer spectacular views from above. From hikes such as Veten or the day-trip cabin Kletten, you get beautiful views of the sea, islands, mountains and the town. The day-trip cabin is an easily accessible and enjoyable hike for the whole family.

10. Street Art Walk

In recent years, Måløy has become known for its impressive street art reflecting the coastal culture of Vågsøy. Today, there are more than 20 murals spread across Vågsøy. Most of them can be found in Måløy and are perfect to combine with a walk.
