Discover the Treehouse
Himmelhyttene is located about 180 metres above sea level and offers a fantastic view westward – towards the sea, the island of Bømlo, and Stord Airport at Stokken.
Nine metres above the forest floor, among the treetops, you’ll find the treehouse Ørnablikk – one of the largest treehouses in Norway!
Between Fjords, Mountains and Wilderness
The treehouse is located at Dyvikesåto on Stord, between Bergen and Haugesund. From here, you can enjoy panoramic views of the western Norwegian wilderness – forest, mountains, fjord and sea.
You’ll get close to nature, hear the birds, breathe in the scent of the forest, and perhaps spot some of the animals living nearby.
Ørnablikk – Close to Nature
The cabin is named Ørnablikk, meaning “Eagle’s View”. From here, you can see the landscape below from the eagle’s perspective – and if you’re lucky, you might even spot an eagle gliding gracefully above the treetops near the cabin.
When evening falls, you can gaze up through the large skylights and enjoy the sight of the sky and stars as night settles over the forest.
Facilities
The cabin features a spacious veranda with seating, a grill, and bird feeders. It is winter insulated and wood-fired, and includes a small kitchen area with a stove and refrigerator.
The treehouse is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable and memorable stay among the treetops – surrounded by nature, all year round, for you and your loved ones.
Accommodation
The treehouse can accommodate 9 people in total. There are 3 double beds, and if the cabin is fully occupied, the sofa benches can also be used as sleeping spaces.
