Bring your class on an active school trip to Boretunet, close to Bore beach on Jæren. Students can try surfing, take part in beach activities and spend time together outside the classroom. Boretunet offers both activity days and overnight school trips, with programmes tailored to the students' ages and group size.

Surfing lessons with qualified instructors

Surfing is the main activity at Boretunet. Students receive tuition from ISA-certified instructors, with all necessary equipment included. Lessons are also suitable for beginners.

All students must be able to swim to participate in group lessons. Children who are not confident in the water or cannot swim require additional safety arrangements involving a parent or guardian and a dedicated instructor.

Accommodation and meals

For classes staying overnight, the Surf House offers 24 beds across five rooms. With additional apartments and tiny houses, the capacity can be extended to 42 people.

Groups have access to a kitchen to prepare their own meals. Boretunet also has a café where the class can gather.

More activities for the class

In addition to surfing, students can take part in beach clean-up activities in cooperation with Havplastfabrikken. They can learn about plastic pollution in the sea and how collected plastic can be sorted and reused.

Boretunet also has a volleyball court and offers activities such as kubb, croquet and other outdoor games.

Plan your school trip

A school trip could include accommodation at the Surf House, surfing lessons, shared meals and a beach clean-up activity the following day. Programmes can be adapted to the students' ages, group size and budget.
