The cabins are universally designed, and many of the paths leading to these gems are accessible to people with prams, wheelchairs and walking frames. Even if you are new to outdoor life, have small children or mobility issues, there are a number of options for enjoying the great outdoors safely!
Don’t despair though if you’re one of those people who enjoy building up a sweat and aching muscles. The most demanding hike is probably to the day trip cabin Klepp in Voss. It is situated 600 metres above sea level with a total climb of 450 metres. Many of the other cabins are several hundred metres above sea level, so you have to climb steep hills to get to them.
