1. The Island of Kinn

The most famous attraction in Florø is without a doubt the island of Kinn – a grass-covered gem right on the edge of the ocean. Here you’ll find both the iconic Kinnaklova and the historic Kinn Church from the Middle Ages.

Travel to Kinn and let yourself be captivated by the nature, history, and tranquility. From the coastal town of Florø, the local boat travels between islands and skerries out to Kinn – an experience in itself! Find more information about the boat route here.

Kinnaspelet – Theatre by the Sea

Every year, the Kinnaspelet is performed – the magnificent open-air theatre by the sea. The play “The Song by the Great Deep” tells the story of the events in 1537, when the Danish king’s envoy came to Kinn to announce the end of the Catholic Church’s era in Norway. With the island of Kinn as a natural stage, the story comes to life in a spectacular outdoor performance.

This is an experience you don’t want to miss – a magical blend of culture, history, and nature that leaves a lasting impression on everyone who witnesses it.
