The Art Nouveau Centre & the Art Museum KUBE

Jugendstilsenteret is located in the old Swan Pharmacy from 1907 and is both a museum and a national centre of Art Nouveau.

Agatunet

Agatunet is traditional Norwegian village center near Aga in Ullensvang by the Sørfjorden. The oldest building is the Lagmannsstova from 1220. At Agatunet you can book guided tours and see art and cultural-historical exhibitions. It is owned by a foundation.

Concerts

Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra

One of Norway's two national orchestras and one of the oldest orchestras in the world, with a history dating back to 1765. The orchestra has played all over the world and has recorded several albums.

Stavanger Symphony Orchestra

The Stavanger Symphony Orchestra (SSO) has become one of the most successful orchestras in Scandinavia. In recent years it has achieved major artistic development and attracted an ever greater following, both inside and outside Norway. This success is partly due to the fact that, in the autumn of 2012, the orchestra moved into its new home, Stavanger's new concert hall, built to the highest European standards. Since 1990, the orchestra has been performing with a dual artistic leadership: The Venezuelan conductor CHRISTIAN VASQUEZ is the orchestra's Chief Conductor. The orchestra has had a particular focus on authentic performance practice of the Baroque and Classical repertoire, with Frans Brüggen, followed by Philippe Herreweghe and Fabio Biondi as artistic leaders. This collaboration has brought critical acclaim and international success for the orchestra and some highly acclaimed CD- recordings: Diapason d'Or 2012 (Biondi/Hallenberg), and Diapason découverte and L'Orphées d'Or - Prix Special 2014 (Biondi/Scarlatti's Carlo Re d'Alemagne). This latter was the BBC Magazine's "Opera Choice" in April 2014. A triple-CD with Antonio Caldara's oratorio 'Morte e sepoltura di Christo', also lead by Fabio Biondi, was released during the orchestra's tour to Spain spring 2015.

Moldejazz

Moldejazz is the oldest continuously running jazz festival in the world , as well as the most important one in Norway.

High in Romsdal - Romsdal Lodge

Bli med oss på pudderjakt i Romsdal. Dette er statistisk sett en av de beste helgene på året for å treffe på dyp og kald snø her i Romsdalen. Vi arrangerer for andre året pudderfestival denne langhelgen. Vi jobber i små grupper, 4-6 personer ledet av profesjonelle og lokale skiguider. Overnatting og base på flotte Romsdal Lodge /tømmerhuset. Vi har åpnet opp for 24 plasser på årets festival og i fjor fylte vi disse fort. Det blir skiguiding fredag, lørdag og søndag der vi deler opp etter ferdighet og ønske. Vi kan tilby guiding på alle ferdighetsnivå, så det er ingen minstekrav. Lodgen harutstyr til utleie hvis noen trenger det. Torsdag 11. feb Ankomst og innkvartering Lodgen. Turplanlegging sammen med guider. Vi serverer suppe og hjemmebakt brød. Fredag 12. feb Ffrokost på Lodgen og deretter skitur etter evne. Vi er ute hele dagen så god niste må smøres. Afterski med badstue og snøbad. Hjemmelaget gryte serveres i storstua.Foredrag med gjest på kvelden. Lørdag 13. feb Vi fortsetter pudderjakten og legger opp dagen som fredagen. Etter festmiddagen blir det intimforedrag om brattkjøring i Romsdal. Søndag 14. feb Siste dagen på ski for denne gang og vi makser ut det vi kan av snøen. Festivalen avsluttes kl 15.00, og vi takker av for denne gang.
